Today's poem is by John Mann

Call Every Man Your Darling

What is resurrection?
The movement of his hands
as he emulates the birds.
The turn and counter turn of sand
after each wave.
The owl’s echo of night.
Her breath on his arm in sleep.
Surely goodness and mercy follow.
He didn’t want it to be over
Moon, gorgeous angel,
come down from your black house.
