Karen Kovacik's most recent book is Metropolis Burning (Cleveland State, 2005). She's currently at work on a new collection, Vérité. Her poems and stories have appeared in Salmagundi, Chelsea, Glimmer Train, Massachusetts Review, and Indiana Review. In 2007, she was awarded the Charity Randall Citation from the International Poetry Forum.
