Nicole Cuddeback's The Saint of Burning Down (Zoo Press 2003) was a finalist for the National Poetry Series competition and Academy of American Poet’s Walt Whitman Award.  Her poems have appeared in Ploughshares, The Paris Review, and other journals. She lives in Florence, Italy where she teaches in New York University’s and Florida State University’s study-abroad programs.
