Celia Gilbert is the author of three books of poetry, An Ark of Sorts, which won the first Jane Kenyon Chapbook Award, Bonfire and Queen of Darkness. Her poetry has appeared in, among other places, Poetry, The New Yorker, Tin House, and Ploughshares. Her poems have been frequently anthologized. New work currently appeared at www.memorious.org. She is also a printmaker and painter.
