Faith Beside the River
Robins flock in winter
favoring survivalover isolation
blossoming from bare treeswith the humility
of tender blossomswhile the river's split ribs
of ice reach toward eachother for a brief frozen
embrace. Somewherethere are trees
with dried berries,the clustered robins,
together, will find them.
