Today's poem is by Flavia Rocha

I never told you. It's as if
I had suddenly understood
the meaning of perspectives.

Flight of a shining bird from this tree
to the same tree, just over.
Our heads, a minimalist

picture: two straight lines and a sun
at the intersection. Window
open to a fixed twilight, lightning

with diffused rays, this uncompleted note.
The broken twig brought from beyond
in the beak of a shining bird.
