Today's poem is by Rhian Gallagher

Linea

Moss and lichen of a thousand rains
come with me as I roll against the dark
my open hoops tangling into the interior

there are times when I step into line
and map my way against the solid
lifting into the canopy and then this
aspiration for a great height
leaves me and I swing out from kauri, beech,
from everything I thought I wanted.
