Today's poem is by Rachel Vigier

To pass out of sight, vanish;
to cease to be, or exist;
also, to get lost,

especially without warning
or explanation. Disappear
as applied to objects,

a cloud disappeared; or
to people, to cause (someone)
to disappear. Ex. in Chile

thousands disappeared,
were disappeared; or reflexively
one sister disappeared herself. And,

one can now speak of the state
of being disappeared, how
the disappeared disappear.
