Vivian Shipley - Connecticut State University Distinguished Professor and editor of the Connecticut Review - teaches at Southern Connecticut State University. She is the author of ten books of poetry and is the recipient of numerous honors and awards, including the Lucille Medwick Prize from the Poetry Society of America, the Hart Crane Poetry Prize, the Robert Frost Foundation Poetry Prize and the Ann Stanford Poetry Prize.
