Robert King, a Professor Emeritus from the University of North Dakota's English Department and Center for Teaching and Learning, was a Visiting Professor of English at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln and is currently a lecturer at the University of Northern Colorado. A previous chapbook, Learning American, was published by Frank Cat Press in 1998 and his poems have appeared in a variety of magazines including Poetry, The Massachusetts Review, Atlanta Review, Ascent, Lullwater, South Dakota Review, North Dakota Quarterly, Midwest Quarterly, and Red Rock Review. New work is forthcoming in Missouri Review and Prairie Schooner.
