J. P. Dancing Bear's poetry has appeared or is forthcoming in the Seattle Review, Verse Daily, the Evansville Review, Midwest Quarterly, Poetry International, Atlanta Review, and many others. His chapbook, What Language, won the 2002 Slipstream Press Prize. A full-length collection of poems, Billy Last Crow, will be published by Turning Point Books in Spring 2004.
