Gregory Orr is the author of eight collections of poetry, including The Caged Owl: New and Selected Poems, and the lyric sequence Orpheus and Eurydice. His numerous awards include fellowships from the Guggenheim Foundation and the NEA, and he served as the Poetry Editor of the Virginia Quarterly Review for many years.
