Diane Thiel is the author of Echolocations ( Nicholas Roerich Prize, Story Line Press, 2000) and Writing Your Rhythm (2001). She has two books which will appear in 2004: Resistance Fantasies (poetry, Story Line Press) and The White Horse: A Colombian Journey (creative nonfiction, Etruscan Press). Her work appears in Poetry, The Hudson Review, and Best American Poetry 1999 and is re-printed in numerous Longman, Bedford, Harper Collins, Beacon, Henry Holt and McGraw Hill anthologies. She was a Fulbright Scholar for 2001-2002 and is on the creative writing faculty at the University of New Mexico. (www.dianethiel.net)
