David Hernandez's poems have appeared in the Southern Review, Cream City Review, Passages North, Quarterly West, Alaska Quarterly Review, and Mississippi Review. A recipient of a grant from the Ludwig Vogelstein Foundation, his chapbook collections include Man Climbs Out of Manhole (Pearl Editions) and Donating the Heart (Pudding House Publications). His first full-length collection, A House Waiting for Music, is forthcoming from Tupelo Press in spring of 2003.
