Cynie Cory's American Girl, winner of New Issues 2002 Poetry Prize, will be released September 2003. Her collection of sonnets, Clink Street, was runner-up for the 2003 T. S. Eliot Prize in Poetry and finalist for the 2002 Four Way Books competition. Her work is forthcoming in Verse and New American Writing. She teaches at Florida State University.
