Kathleen Winter, from California, is the author of three poetry books: Transformer, I will not kick my friends, and Nostalgia for the Criminal Past. Her fourth full-length book, Serial Fabulist, is forthcoming from Texas Review Press. Her poems have been published by The New Republic, The New Statesman, Cincinnati Review, Agni, Yale Review, Gulf Coast, Sixth Finch, and Michigan Quarterly Review. Kathleen was granted fellowships at the Heinrich Böll Cottage, Maison Dora Maar, Cill Rialaig Project, James Merrill House, and Sewanee Writers' Conference. Awards include the Poetry Society of America The Writer Magazine/Emily Dickinson Award, the Rochelle Ratner Memorial Prize, and the Ralph Johnston Fellowship. Kathleen is an associate editor with the journal 32 Poems.
