Esteban Ismael is a poet and screenwriter from National City, CA. He teaches writer's workshops and literature with the San Diego College of Continuing Education, where he also serves as the Diversity Coordinator and Chair of the DEIAA Committee. He is a two-time Pushcart nominee, Dogwood Literary Prize winner, and a Second Rounder in Austin Film Festival's Teleplay Competition. His poems have appeared in DMQ Review, Electric Literature, Another Chicago Magazine, Southern Humanities Review, Harvard Review, and Conduit, among other fine journals.
