Eve's Invective Against Small Ardor

An epiphany is a series
of events linked by
unexpected light.

The light stands in lieu
of explanation, exposing
everything at once

is tenuous connection.
My life flashed
before my eyes

is a stammering
in light of a light.
I am tired of tiny

trickles, the leaking
crinkle of melting snow,
a world slowly soaked

due to heat's relationship
with carbon-hydrogen
atoms. The light

intervenes like a god.
All sand leads back
to his body.
