Today's poem is by Jenn Marie Nunes

Q: Did your neighborhood flood?

A: Now, my new white neighbors and other white people passing thru the
neighborhood are outside all the time.

Exhibit: the court of three sistering. A time nick. Blick. McDizzle. Because of
incidents like those, where I grew up wasn't some hip place you moved when you
didn't know what to do with your life.                                                 Or it's bone.

A veritable vessel. A vassal. Chance has no mammary. All Columbus and dick-
strong. Those infertile Anglos. It wasn't a blank slate.
