Today's poem is by George Szirtes

Ghost

Conjuring a ghost
is not difficult. You close
your eyes and listen

intently to what
is not there. But there it is.
Somewhere in the street

a car radio plays
and a front door closes. There,
and nowhere at all,

the world passes you.
