Today's poem is by Katy Chrisler

Come Alive

I cease little more than hope
from bone muscle organ, sylleptic
submersion my youth jumped
off a cliff tell me about your father
and give myself a generous dream
of cruelties and disappointing prudence
your language tends and breaks sororally
death mother, for a year now
movement never stops moving
like form comes alive melodic
and capable find a measure of the pressures
faithful to my habits structure
for return to this communion I have
a voice to go on never better a plural center
the question is how to give myself
forgiveness
