Still Life with Fred Rogers

This is the story of his life he drew up around himself: he took a
guilty pleasure in putting it all down in parts. Line shape color
texture value in no particular order.

Drips and smudges.

The paint on his pants his hands his shoes. Primal spatter-figures
ambulate in the background.

Make no mistake.

Composition is a mess.

He makes a collage of bailbonds bumper stickers shopping bags
with handles NYT obits. Pollock put on different shoes

—so too Fred Rogers. Would you could you won't you
        be my ...—

to steal us to his land of make-believe.
