Today's poem is by Dan Kaplan

+

There is a glass of water
in each loaf of bread.

If we took away all of the water
a watermelon would only be as big
as a few bones.

If we were to set a fire
under a box full of bees
the bees would fly out of the box
and into the air.

If things are heated
they spread out and get
just a little bigger.

There are whole days.

Landing on some dry leaves,
they begin to burn.

You can make ashtrays
or animals or dolls.

Your bathing suit will dry very quickly.

If two dogs begin running
in circles, there will be two boys
in the center.

If falling, can you believe
the snow.
