Today's poem is by Brian Strang

Twins

fall at the feet of the mother of twins

in any tongue foreign

rivulet hair birds for lips

encased in their own gypsum

a slipknot, a snake skeleton

unable to speak her name

you wander with the nomads

a sparrow with nothing

but malice in its heart
