Today's poem is by Karina Borowicz
Wild Eye
All day the dream will linger
it won't easily be extinguished
by the lightly falling rain
by the milk of the sunher hands, taking up
the used breakfast dishes
will not easily forget
the horse's sleek warmth
white mottled with charcoal bluethe wild eye
no answers, no questions
just hooves pounding the damp sand
joyously, again and again
ringing out, an axe against wood
against stone
against the whole world
