Rich Smith grew up just outside of Kansas City, Missouri. He holds an MA in poetry from Ohio University, and is currently enrolled in the MFA program at the University of Washington. His poems have been published or are forthcoming in Guernica, Bellingham Review, RHINO, and Blue Earth Review.
