Today's poem is by Ryan Flaherty

Start at either end of a history.

In an empty hall with one crocus,

start the compost recovery project.

Start up the no-armory parade.

Make from a circumference a globe,

make from a river a river.

Start at either end of a sorrow

and walk towards its epicenter.

Restart the blown statuary project.

Restart the robin egg's blue broken

on the deck. Restart the yolk,

flecked red with blood, quivering

under the nest.
