Zachary Harris was born & raised in Pittsburgh, PA, and is still trying to write about it. He holds a BA in Creative Writing from Carnegie Mellon University & an MFA in Poetry from Cornell University. His work has appeared in Bat City REview, Ninth Letter, Pleiades, and West Branch, and honors include a residency at the Millay Colony for the Arts and a fellowship from Bucknell Seminar for Younger Poets. He currently teaches writing at the Pittsburgh Creative & Performing Arts High School, of which he is a former student.
