Laura Shovan is an honors graduate of the Dramatic Writing Program at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. She has been active in the Geralding R. Dodge Foundation's Poetry Program, and coordinated poetry readings by award-winning teens at the 1996 and 1998 Dodge Poetry Festivals.
