All the Ape-Gone Songs

"Where are all the ape-gone songs?" wondered the man without thumbs. "Look
at your hands. You're obviously short a couple thumbs," said the spokesperson
for The Office of Song Protection. "If I had even one song, why I could have lift,
and loft, and Weltanschauung. And maybe even avian sex," noted the thumbless
man. "Perhaps there's a global thumb shortage," reported the Song Protectionist.
"Did someone just warble?" sang the man without two songs. "I swear I heard a
sound a bird might make if it had thumbs where it once had wings."
