Jay Griswold was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, and has traveled extensively throughout the world. He has a MA in Creative Writing from Colorado State University, and currently resides in Ft. Myers, Florida. He is the author of three award-winning collections of poetry, Meditations For the Year o f the Horse, The Landscape of Exile, and Conquistador (Main Street Rag Book Award, 2004).
