Alexandra van de Kamp teaches at Stony Brook University and lives with her husband in Port Jefferson, NY. She has been published in journals such as Lake Effect, Crab Orchard Review, Salt Hill, Washington Square, Meridian, Sentence and Court Green and has work forthcoming in The Southampton Review. Her chapbook, The Rainiest May in the Twentieth Century, was a winner of the 2001 Quentin R. Howard Poetry Prize from Wind Magazine and her first full-length book, The Park of Upside-Down Chairs, is forthcoming from WordTech Press in 2010.
