Today's poem is by Judy Little

Horizons

              let anywhere as all
              till ever happens
over sandrise deep in sunshine unfolding
time or desert, for instance, hollow
places at full windspread or known
collapses of the sun can mark
              drifts of dune-shadow

              lapsed and centuries gone
to silt. Any sand at sunseed may ground
full harbor to some lost curl of time where
ships at market once turned horizons home
surf by surf and sinking sunwave
              long at sound and seacoast
              and west of all sky that ever happened.
