He has published three books of poems These Modern Nights, Hours of the Cardinal, and Fleur Carnivore, the latter winning the 2005 Washington Prize with The Word Works in Washington D.C. Recent work will appear in The American Literary Review, Subtropics, Crab Orchard Review, and The Cincinnati Review.
