Yerra Sugarman received the 2005 PEN/Joyce Osterweil Award for Poetry for her first book, Forms of Gone, published by Sheep Meadow Press in 2002, and a “Discovery”/The Nation Prize. Her second book, The Bag of Broken Glass, is forthcoming in Spring 2008 and will also be published by Sheep Meadow.
