Leslie St. John has an MFA from Purdue University, where she served as poetry editor for Sycamore Review. Her poems have appeared in Arkansas Review, Cimarron Review, Crab Orchard Review, Florida Review, and Indiana Review. She won first prize in the 2007 Literature Competition of the National Society of Arts and Letters. Her manuscript Beauty Like a Rope was chosen as a finalist for the Cider Press Review Book Award.
