Karyna McGlynn is originally from Austin, TX. Her poems have appeared in Gulf Coast, Willow Springs, Indiana Review, Denver Quarterly, Crab Orchard Review, Indiana Review, and Fence. She is the recipient of the Hopwood Award for poetry at the University of Michigan where she recently completed her MFA. She currently holds a Zell Postgraduate Writing Fellowship at the University of Michigan and teaches at Washtenaw Community College.
