Brenda Shaughnessy is the author of Interior with Sudden Joy. Her poems have been published in Bomb, Conjunctions, McSweeney's, The New Yorker, The Paris Review, and elsewhere. She is the poetry editor of Tin House magazine and has taught poetry at many institutions, including Eugene Lang College and Princeton University. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband and son.
