Stephen Dobyns is the author of twelve volumes of poetry, twenty novels, a collection of essays on poetry entitled Best Words, Best Order, and an award-winning collection of short stories, Eating Naked. He has received a Guggenheim Fellowship for his poetry and three fellowships from the NEA. He currently teaches in the graduate writing program at Sarah Lawrence College.
