Today's poem is by Lynne Bigley

Consider Yourself, Osiris

Walking above
your underworld,

my face reflected in passing
headstones and life's spilling

river of joy, and gladness, and breathless passion,
in the surrounding between sarcophagi and leafy blossom;

Osiris,
I am no longer looking for you.
Osiris,

trees may grow from your limbs
and lips clay blue,

but buried and apart
your skeleton sockets shall not be found

among the vines and flowers
of this wild hibiscus garden.
