Nicky Beer received her B.A. from Yale University and her M.F.A. in Creative Writing from the University of Houston. She is currently a Ph.D. student in Creative Writing at the University of Missouri-Columbia. She has served as a poetry editor at Gulf Coast and is currently the poetry editor for Center. Her poetry, reviews, and nonfiction have appeared or are forthcoming in American Literary Review, Cider Press Review, Clackamas Literary Review, Columbia, Indiana Review, New Orleans Review, Nerve, Notre Dame Review, and Pleiades.
