Lisa S. Steinman, who teaches at Reed College in Portland, Oregon, has been awarded fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts and the Rockefeller Foundations, and has published five volumes of poetry—including Lost Poems (Ithaca House); All That Comes To Light (Arrowood Books); A Book of Other Days (Arrowood Books); Ordinary Songs (Twenty-Six Books); and most recently, Carlsaw's Sequences (University of Tampa Press, 2003). Her poems have appeared in The Massachusetts Review, Prairie Schooner, Notre Dame Review, Chariton Review, Epoch, The Woman's Review of Books and elsewhere. She co-edits the poetry magazine, Hubbub.
