George Looney's second book is Attendant Ghosts (Cleveland State University Press, 2000). In 2001, Pudding House Press published his Greatest Hits (1990-2000). He won The Missouri Review's Larry Levis Award in Poetry in 2003. He directs the new BFA in Creative Writing program at Penn State Erie, where he serves as editor-in-chief of Lake Effect and translation editor of Mid-American Review.
