Frannie Lindsay's first book of poems, Where She Always Was, was selected by J.D. McClatchy as the 2004 recipient of the May Swenson Award. Her poems have appeared in Atlantic Monthly, Field, Quarterly West, Folio, Slamander, Tampa Review, The Antioch Review, College English, The Iowa Review, Shenandoah, TriQuarterly, American Poetry Review, and Agni. She holds an MFA from the Iowa Writer's Workshop.
