Benjamin S. Grossberg's first book, Underwater Lengths in a Single Breath, won the 2005 Synder Prize and will be published by Ashland Poetry Press in 2007. A chapbook, The Auctioneer Bangs His Gavel, was published by Kent State in 2006. His poetry has appeared in journals such as Paris Review, Pleiades, and Barrow Street, and is in the Pushcart Prize anthology for 2005.
